el Campello is a municipality in Spain, in the province of Alicante, in the Valencian Community. On 1 January 2025 it had 31,419 inhabitants according to the INE municipal register (padrón), over an area of about 54.2 km².
Density, at about 580 inhabitants per km², is that of a populous urban area, with residential districts, services and businesses. Of the 61 municipalities in the province of Alicante with at least 5,000 inhabitants, it is number 14 by population.
As the crow flies it lies about 17 km north-east of Alicante, the provincial capital. The nearest major city is Valencia, about 110 km away.
