Reus Airport (IATA code REU) lies about 3 km from the town of Reus, birthplace of Antoni Gaudí, and about ten kilometres from Tarragona and the beaches of the Costa Dorada, with Salou, Cambrils and the PortAventura theme park. Barcelona is about 100 km away. It is a small Aena airport with a single terminal.
Flights and airlines
Traffic at Reus is highly seasonal: in summer scheduled and charter flights arrive from many European cities, especially the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands and Belgium, with airlines such as Ryanair, Jet2, TUI and others; in winter there are very few flights. Many travellers fly into Barcelona-El Prat or Girona instead (see getting to Spain). Always check current schedules on the Aena and airline websites.
