Sabiñánigo is a municipality in Spain, in the province of Huesca, in Aragon. On 1 January 2025 it had 9,695 inhabitants according to the INE municipal register (padrón), over an area of about 581.5 km².
With about 17 inhabitants per km², it is a sparsely populated area of countryside, small settlements and wide open spaces, like much of inland Spain. Of the 7 municipalities in the province of Huesca with at least 5,000 inhabitants, it is number 7 by population.
As the crow flies it lies about 38 km north of Huesca, the provincial capital. The nearest major city is Zaragoza, about 100 km away.
