Pájara is a municipality in Spain, in the province of Las Palmas, on the island of Fuerteventura. On 1 January 2025 it had 21,570 inhabitants according to the INE municipal register (padrón), over an area of about 383.9 km².
Population density is about 56 per km²: a partly rural municipality, with a main town and scattered villages or developments. Of the 30 municipalities in the province of Las Palmas with at least 5,000 inhabitants, it is number 14 by population.
As the crow flies it lies about 120 km east of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the provincial capital.
