Muskiz is a municipality in Spain, in the province of Biscay, in the Basque Country. On 1 January 2025 it had 7,465 inhabitants according to the INE municipal register (padrón), over an area of about 19.8 km².
Density, at about 377 inhabitants per km², is that of a populous urban area, with residential districts, services and businesses. Of the 35 municipalities in the province of Biscay with at least 5,000 inhabitants, it is number 28 by population.
As the crow flies it lies about 17 km north-west of Bilbao, the provincial capital. The nearest major city is Bilbao, about 15 km away.
