Manises, in the Valencian Community, is part of the province of Valencia. The municipality covers about 16.4 km² and had 32,609 inhabitants on 1 January 2025.
With about 1,988 inhabitants per km², it is one of the most densely populated areas in the country, part of a large metropolitan area. Of the 80 municipalities in the province of Valencia with at least 5,000 inhabitants, it is number 11 by population.
As the crow flies it lies about 15 km north-west of Valencia, the provincial capital.
