Burriana is a municipality in Spain, in the province of Castellón, in the Valencian Community. On 1 January 2025 it had 37,915 inhabitants according to the INE municipal register (padrón), over an area of about 46.7 km².
Density, at about 812 inhabitants per km², is that of a populous urban area, with residential districts, services and businesses. Of the 20 municipalities in the province of Castellón with at least 5,000 inhabitants, it is number 3 by population.
As the crow flies it lies about 12 km south of Castellón de la Plana, the provincial capital. The nearest major city is Valencia, about 55 km away.
