Albox is a municipality in Spain, in the province of Almería, in Andalusia. On 1 January 2025 it had 12,799 inhabitants according to the INE municipal register (padrón), over an area of about 168.8 km².
Population density is about 76 per km²: a partly rural municipality, with a main town and scattered villages or developments. Of the 21 municipalities in the province of Almería with at least 5,000 inhabitants, it is number 12 by population.
As the crow flies it lies about 66 km north of Almería, the provincial capital. The nearest major city is Malaga, about 220 km away.
