La Línea de la Concepción is a municipality in Spain, in the province of Cadiz, in Andalusia. On 1 January 2025 it had 64,499 inhabitants according to the INE municipal register (padrón), over an area of about 28.6 km².
With about 2,255 inhabitants per km², it is one of the most densely populated areas in the country, part of a large metropolitan area. Of the 31 municipalities in the province of Cadiz with at least 5,000 inhabitants, it is number 8 by population.
As the crow flies it lies about 89 km east of Cadiz, the provincial capital. The nearest major city is Malaga, about 100 km away.
