Ibi is a municipality in Spain, in the province of Alicante, in the Valencian Community. On 1 January 2025 it had 24,500 inhabitants according to the INE municipal register (padrón), over an area of about 60.8 km².
Density, at about 403 inhabitants per km², is that of a populous urban area, with residential districts, services and businesses. Of the 61 municipalities in the province of Alicante with at least 5,000 inhabitants, it is number 22 by population.
As the crow flies it lies about 27 km north of Alicante, the provincial capital. The nearest major city is Valencia, about 95 km away.
