Carlet is a municipality in Spain, in the province of Valencia, in the Valencian Community. On 1 January 2025 it had 16,857 inhabitants according to the INE municipal register (padrón), over an area of about 45.7 km².
Density, at about 369 inhabitants per km², is that of a populous urban area, with residential districts, services and businesses. Of the 80 municipalities in the province of Valencia with at least 5,000 inhabitants, it is number 39 by population.
As the crow flies it lies about 26 km south-west of Valencia, the provincial capital. The nearest major city is Valencia, about 30 km away.
