Calamonte is a municipality in Spain, in the province of Badajoz, in Extremadura. On 1 January 2025 it had 6,104 inhabitants according to the INE municipal register (padrón), over an area of about 8.5 km².
Density, at about 718 inhabitants per km², is that of a populous urban area, with residential districts, services and businesses. Of the 21 municipalities in the province of Badajoz with at least 5,000 inhabitants, it is number 15 by population.
