Adeje is a municipality in Spain, in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, on the island of Tenerife. On 1 January 2025 it had 50,021 inhabitants according to the INE municipal register (padrón), over an area of about 103.3 km².
Density, at about 484 inhabitants per km², is that of a populous urban area, with residential districts, services and businesses. Of the 32 municipalities in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife with at least 5,000 inhabitants, it is number 5 by population.
As the crow flies it lies about 64 km south-west of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the provincial capital.
